BLOCHEAD: Wishbone Boulder - Pine Creek Canyon

Andy Rosenzweig and I decided to take advantage of the cooler temperatures yesterday and try our luck on some sandstone. No such luck. After a moderate 15 minute approach we reached the Wishbone boulder, just a couple hundred feet off the Pine Creek Canyon trail. I'm not sure if we were weak or the grades were stiff, but we managed to get up one V4 and were absolutely spanked by everything else. Despite the humbling session it was nice to feel sandstone under my fingers again.
